Scandinavian Design Tips
Get the wellness feeling of the Scandinavian design style into your home. Add character to your interior while your friend will envy your designer skills.
Tip of the day: Go neutral and natural
The overall palette is restful and neutral. It is combined with natural elements earth, stone, wood and anything that connects the indoor to outdoor. The contemporary style proposes cool grey neutrals with a slight underlying warmth so that lively spring green plants and flowers will look more vibrant against all those harmonious, cool tones.
Wood, in natural color, is an important part which brings comfort and warmth. Anything that adds texture, such as a slate floor, stone or wall panelling, stops the neutrals looking too flat or stark.
Occasional flashes of colour of spring blues, teals and yellow. Scandinavian style geometric patterns are found on rugs, art or furniture.
