HIPPO is a comfy futon sofa that folds out into a bed. Release the back and lift the arms and it lays out flat into a thick, generous mattress — ideal for guests and sleepovers — then folds back into a relaxed everyday sofa just as easily.

Care guide

Wood is a living, natural material. Its knots and natural variations give every piece its own character, so no two are exactly alike. Over time the wood develops a beautiful patina and adapts to its surroundings — light, climate and humidity.

  • Do not place hot objects or candles directly on the surface.
  • Wipe off any spilled liquids immediately with a damp cloth.
  • Regularly check that screws and fittings are properly tightened.

Fabric:

  • Vacuum the fabric to remove dust and small particles.
  • For stains, use a damp cloth with a little clear washing-up liquid and gently clean the affected area. Always dry the spot with a clean, non-dyed cloth, and avoid soaking the fabric.

Each piece is handmade, so small differences in size may occur.
