CASØ EMBLA Dining Table with Wooden Base 220CM

The Embla dining table is made with a solid wild oak top. The design allows for more texture than usual, which means that knots and minor irregularities are welcome. The wooden legs have a crossbar at the bottom for added stability. Each type of leg brings a new look to the entire dining table. The metal frame provides a nice contrast to the wild tabletop, while the wooden frame is timeless but also more solid. The table reaches a full length of 320 cm with two extension plates.

Care instructions

Solid oak and oak veneer are natural materials: colour and grain change over time, a tabletop may arch slightly with the seasons, and small harmless cracks along the grain can appear.

• Wipe daily with a firmly wrung-out cloth; use a wood cleaner for stubborn stains.
• Sand rough spots lightly with fine sandpaper (never steel wool), always along the grain.
• Avoid hot or damp items directly on the wood, strong heat sources such as radiators and stoves, and airtight covers like oilcloth.
• Treat tabletops on both sides.
• White oiled oak: treat regularly with white-pigmented furniture oil.
• Smoked oiled oak: treat regularly with clear or natural furniture oil; black-pigmented oil refreshes the dark tone.
