CASØ 230 Highboard with Herringbone Doors 120CM

Highboard in veneered and solid oak. At the top, there are two wooden doors in solid oak parquet with a herringbone pattern, concealing a removable wooden shelf. At the bottom, there are two large drawers, both with push-open mechanisms and bottoms lined with black felt. In addition to doors and drawers, the highboard has several open compartments. It is possible to purchase lighting for all shelves for a more stylish look. The frame of the highboard is in black-stained oak, which creates a beautiful contrast to the natural and rustic oak and gives a modern yet timeless look. The furniture is designed with small ‘imperfections’ in the wood, which add character and life and bring the aesthetics of nature into the home. CASØ 230 Highboard is designed by Spanish designer duo Carlos Guijarro & Alex Ortega, also known as reverse, in collaboration with CASØ Furniture. This highboard is also available with wooden doors.

Care instructions

Solid oak and oak veneer are natural materials: colour and grain change over time and small harmless cracks along the grain can appear.

• Wipe daily with a firmly wrung-out cloth; use a wood cleaner for stubborn stains.
• Sand rough spots lightly with fine sandpaper (never steel wool), always along the grain.
• Avoid hot or damp items directly on the wood, strong heat sources such as radiators and stoves, and airtight covers like oilcloth.
• Natural oiled oak: treat regularly with clear or natural furniture oil.
