A 16 cm cotton futon mattress built around a natural coco-fibre plate for firm, breathable, naturally supportive comfort. The coco core holds everything in place while the cotton softens to your body — a good pick if you prefer a firmer, more structured feel.

Care guide

• Use a sheet to help protect the mattress and keep it looking neat.
• Turn and rotate the futon regularly so it keeps its shape, airs well and wears evenly — turn it 180°, swapping the head and foot ends, roughly every 3 to 4 weeks.
• Vacuum the surface to lift dust. For stains, dab gently with a slightly damp, colourless cloth and a little clear washing-up liquid, then lift any excess moisture with a dry cloth or paper towel.

Each futon is handmade, so small differences in size and weight are natural.
