Delivery Policy

DISPATCH AND DELIVERY

On the product page for each item, you will find the delivery estimation e.g. '2-3 weeks'. Please note that this is just an estimation, therefore we encourage you to check with us the delivery times prior to placing your order with us, should you be under time pressure. 

Below you will find more information on the delivery process.

  • We subcontract the delivery to different companies depending on the size of the parcel, as a result, we can only offer the standard services provided by our delivery partners;
  • Please carefully inspect the integrity of the packaging and note any visible damage on the delivery docket before accepting the delivery;

Delivery costs:

The cost of delivery is automatically calculated upon check out. These costs vary based on the country of destination and the size of the shipment.

    Delivery of small and medium sized items

    When a parcel has been dispatched, we provide you with a tracking code so that you can check where the parcel is in real time. 

    We always include the customers' phone numbers for the courier to contact them. 

    Please note that some items are shipped from our warehouse, others are shipped internationally, thus the delivery time may vary.  

    It is the customer's responsibility to carefully inspect the integrity of the packaging and to note any visible damage on the delivery docket. If in doubt, we advise you to open the package and check it before signing the delivery docket. If opening the package is not possible, please note on the delivery docket that you sign "under reservations" because the integrity of the product could not be verified. 

    Delivery of large items - Freight delivery shipments

    We offer free delivery in Ireland and Germany on large items.

    As we subcontract the delivery, we can only offer the standard services provided by our delivery partners. Therefore, please read the delivery terms and limitations carefully.

    Please note that the large items will be delivered on pallets by large trucks. The freight company operates under IRHA Terms and Conditions. 

    We are kindly asking our customers to be flexible on the agreed delivery day as they will be called 1 hour in advance of the actual delivery. The freight company applies a 30 EUR "failed delivery" fee if delivery is attempted and the customer is not reachable, since the driver must leave the area and deliver again. 

    The delivery is up to the closest point to the house, as close as the truck can get. The drivers are not insured to handball into houses and if they do help, it is at their own risk. If you have ordered a very large item, please have help available. 

    It is the customer's responsibility to carefully inspect the integrity of the packaging before signing the delivery documents. We are unable to claim the damage if it was not noted on the docket. If in doubt, we advise you to open the package and check it before signing the delivery docket. If opening the package is not possible, please note on the delivery docket that you sign "under reservations" because the integrity of the product could not be verified. Any damage claim must be promptly reported to us by email and must include pictures. 

    We cannot provide assembling services or disposal of old furniture as part of our standard package. This can be arranged sometimes with other services providers and paid for it separately. 

    If you wish to return the product, you can do so. It has to be returned in its original packaging, unused and without damages. Please read our Return Policy.
