1. Returns

Our policy lasts for 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since you received the item, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused. It must also be in the original packaging.

Gift cards are non-returnable. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

  • Any item not in its original packaging;
  • Any item not in its original condition or used;
  • A damaged item;
  • An item with missing parts;
  • Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery.

The shipping costs are not refundable. In the case of "free shipping" the shipping cost is included in the total price of the item. Please email us if you consider returning an item to find out the cost of the shipping which will be deducted from the total price paid.

2. Refunds

Orders cancelled before being shipped will be refunded immediately. "Special orders" have a limited time in which they can be cancelled. Cancellation of orders during shipping can be processed only after the shipment was delivered. 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

Once the refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.

Orders labelled "special orders" cannot be cancelled once they have been sent to production. We will inform you in writing about this case. 

For returned items that do not have their original packaging, a 20% service fee will be automatically deducted from the refund.

3. Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

You can always contact us at customerservice@d40studio.com and we will send you proof of refund. 

4. Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular-priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

5. Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customerservice@d40studio.com. In the case of defective or damaged items, should a replacement not be possible, we will arrange for the product to be collected and we will refund. Please refer to RETURNS.

Not all of our products can be replaced. Each replacement has to be confirmed by us in writing.

Important information

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs to return your item.

The shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the shipping will be deducted from your refund.

In case of receiving a damaged or a different product, we will make arrangements for the return of the product. Please have the product ready for collection, in its original packging. We offer collection services which fall under the same policy as the delivery services, meaning that we will collect the small items at the door, while the large items will be collected as close to the location as the truck can reach. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over EUR 50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
